Position: EHS – Chemical Safety Professional
Qualification
- B.Tech. in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
Experience
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in EHS, Chemical Safety, EHS Audits and Training.
- Strong practical exposure to industrial chemical safety and site-level EHS compliance.
- Experience in HAZOP, QRA, Chemical Risk Assessment and Process Safety will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Chemical Safety Audits, EHS Audits and Compliance Assessments at client sites.
- Conduct HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) Studies for process and chemical safety risk identification.
- Conduct QRA (Quantitative Risk Assessment) for hazardous processes, chemicals and industrial operations.
- Identify chemical and process hazards and recommend effective risk control and mitigation measures.
- Conduct Chemical Risk Assessments, HIRA/JSA and emergency preparedness assessments.
- Review SDS/MSDS, chemical storage, handling, transportation and compatibility requirements.
- Evaluate chemical storage areas, hazardous chemical handling systems, PPE, labeling and safety controls.
- Support clients in improving EHS compliance, Chemical Safety and Process Safety Management Systems.
- Prepare professional audit reports, HAZOP/QRA documentation, observations, corrective action plans and recommendations.
- Deliver EHS, Chemical Safety and Process Safety Training Programs at client locations.
- Conduct training sessions in Hindi and English as required.
- Travel extensively across India for audits, inspections, HAZOP, QRA, assessments and training assignments.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Chemical Safety, Industrial EHS, Process Safety and statutory compliance.
- Proven experience in conducting EHS Audits and Chemical Safety Audits.
- Practical experience in HAZOP Studies and QRA.
- Strong understanding of Chemical Risk Assessment, HIRA/JSA and hazard identification methodologies.
- Excellent English communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to confidently deliver EHS/Chemical Safety/Process Safety trainings in Hindi and English.
- Strong presentation, client-handling and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness and ability to undertake extensive PAN India travel.
- Practical, field-oriented approach with the ability to work independently at client sites.
Compensation Salary: Based on competency, relevant experience and current CTC.

This is a completely travel-based profile requiring extensive PAN India travel. Candidates should be comfortable with frequent travel and client-site assignments.
