Job Title: Senior Consultant (Planon)

About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Planon Consultant to lead the design, delivery, and technical governance of solutions on the Planon platform, supporting our organization's (or our clients') Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS). This is a senior, client- and stakeholder-facing role: the ideal candidate combines deep Planon technical expertise with the ability to lead solution architecture, mentor junior team members, and act as the primary technical advisor on complex, multi-module Planon implementations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end solution design and architecture for complex, multi-module Planon implementations
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients and business stakeholders; lead requirements-gathering workshops and translate business needs into scalable Planon solutions
- Define and enforce configuration standards, technical governance, and best practices across projects and teams
- Mentor and provide technical oversight to junior and mid-level Planon developers/consultants, including code and configuration reviews
- Own delivery of Planon applications, forms, workflows, and business rules, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and long-term scalability
- Design and oversee integrations between Planon and third-party systems (ERP, HR, IoT/BMS, ticketing systems) using Planon Connect, APIs, or web services
- Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution scoping, effort estimation, and proposal development for recent engagements
- Lead Planon upgrade, migration, and version transition projects, including risk assessment and regression test strategy
- Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues beyond Tier 2/3 support
- Develop custom reports, dashboards, and advanced data views; guide reporting strategy across projects
- Manage technical delivery timelines, risks, and quality across multiple concurrent workstreams
- Present solution recommendations, ROI, and business cases to senior stakeholders and clients
- Ensure compliance with data security, access control, and governance standards across all Planon implementations

Required Qualifications





- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6–9+ years of hands-on experience configuring, developing, and architecting solutions on the Planon platform (Planon Accelerator, Planon Universe, or Planon ProCenter), including multiple full-cycle implementations
- Deep, cross-module expertise in Planon, including Space Management, Maintenance Management, Asset Management, Service Management, Real Estate Management, and Sustainability
- Proven experience leading solution architecture and technical delivery for complex, enterprise-scale Planon projects
- Strong experience with Planon Connect / Planon Web Services / REST APIs for enterprise system integrations
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts
- Strong command of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, XML) for advanced customizations
- Advanced experience with Planon's reporting engine (e.g., Field Definer, Report Manager, BIRT, or similar)
- Demonstrated experience mentoring or leading technical teams or workstreams
- Strong client-facing and consulting skills, including stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and executive presentation
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and business case articulation skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Planon certification(s) strongly preferred (e.g., Planon Certified Application Consultant/Developer)
- Experience with IWMS/CAFM platforms beyond Planon (e.g., Archibus, IBM TRIRIGA, ServiceNow FM)
- Experience in project or delivery management, including Agile/Scrum leadership
- Knowledge of ITIL practices for incident, change, and problem management at a governance level
- Experience contributing to pre-sales, proposals, or solution consulting in a professional services environment
- Background in facilities management, corporate real estate, or maintenance operations at a strategic level
