Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and target-oriented Education Counselor to join our Kochi team. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students and parents, recommending suitable countries, universities and courses, handling student enquiries, managing applications and ensuring effective follow-ups until enrolment.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents on overseas education opportunities.
- Understand students' academic background, career goals, budget and preferences.
- Recommend suitable countries, universities and courses based on student profiles.
- Handle enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins and other communication channels.
- Explain admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, intakes and application procedures.
- Guide students through the application and documentation process.
- Coordinate with admissions, documentation and visa teams for smooth processing.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective students and existing applicants.
- Update and maintain accurate student records in the CRM.
- Convert enquiries into applications and enrolments while maintaining ethical counselling practices.
- Achieve monthly counselling, application and admission targets.
- Participate in seminars,



education fairs, webinars and student recruitment activities.
- Stay updated on university requirements, courses, intakes and study-abroad trends.

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Study Abroad / Overseas Education Counselling.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Good knowledge of international education and admission processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid convincing, counselling and follow-up skills.
- Target-oriented with a strong sales and conversion mindset.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
- Fluency in English and Malayalam is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Skills
- Experience counselling for destinations such as UK, Germany, Canada, Australia, Ireland, USA or Europe.
- Experience handling student leads and converting them into applications/admissions.
- Good understanding of university applications and documentation.
