Ashar Urban Futures Lab is building India's first venture studio dedicated to the built workplace - PropTech, ConTech, UrbanTech, Climate Infrastructure. Ecosystem Manager

LOCATION: Mumbai / Thane

REPORTS TO: Founder & Director, UFL

This role is UFL's connective tissue: champion and hand-holder for our onboarded portfolio startups inside the Ashar ecosystem, and the person who keeps UFL's name active and visible across India's built-environment innovation ecosystem - incubators, institutions, and events. You'll build the culture, the network, and the moments that make people feel genuinely co-built-with

WHAT YOU WILL DRIVE

- Be the day-to-day champion for UFL's portfolio startups - accompany founders to meetings and events, make internal introductions across the Ashar ecosystem, and represent them externally when UFL's name opens doors
- Build and run relationships with external ecosystem partners - incubators and institutions to keep UFL's presence active in their communities
- Organize joint programming with these partners: webinars, hackathons, and co-hosted sessions that build UFL's founder and startup sourcing pipeline




- Build and activate UFL's advisory board and mentor network, mapped against our core problem statements
- Own founder community experience - onboarding, regular touchpoints, peer connections across cohorts
- Plan and run UFL's events calendar - demo days (UFL-run and partner), milestone reviews, mentor sessions, and partner convenings
- Own UFL's presence and voice on LinkedIn and other channels - founder stories, thesis content, program updates
- Organize UFL City Rooms across Indian metros to spread awareness and build founder and startup sourcing pipelines
- Bring UFL's we build alongside identity to life in every touchpoint, internal and external

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 45 years in community, partnerships, events or ecosystem-building roles - startup, accelerator, or venture ecosystem experience preferred
- A natural connector who builds genuine relationships (not just a contact/ broadcast list)
- Comfortable being the face of UFL with a founder, a corporate partner, or an incubator director
- Strong written voice; comfortable representing UFL's perspective publicly
- Organized and independent; you own calendar and priorities across two audiences (portfolio founders and external institutions)
