Jayshree Heritage is a growing premium Indian handloom saree brand focused on bringing authentic Indian handloom craftsmanship to customers through modern e-commerce.

We are building our digital commerce, inventory, customer experience, logistics, marketplace, content, and operational systems from the ground up.

This internship is ideal for someone who wants practical, hands-on experience in how an e-commerce startup operates on a daily basis.

The selected intern will work closely with the founder and core team and will get exposure to product management, e-commerce listings, inventory, order fulfilment, logistics, marketplaces, Shopify, customer operations, and general business operations.

Internship Responsibilities The selected intern will assist with:

E-commerce Product Management

Creating and uploading product listings on the company website

Uploading products on e-commerce marketplaces when required

Writing and updating product titles, descriptions and specifications

Entering product prices, SKUs, categories, colours, materials and other product information

Uploading and organising product photographs

Checking product pages for errors

Updating product details whenever required

Maintaining consistency across all product listings

Inventory Management

Maintaining product and inventory records

Creating and managing SKU records

Updating stock availability

Recording incoming and outgoing inventory

Checking physical inventory against system inventory

Helping maintain accurate stock records

Reporting inventory discrepancies

Order Processing

Monitoring incoming online orders

Checking order details

Processing orders through the company’s systems

Printing invoices and shipping labels

Coordinating products for packing

Preparing orders for dispatch

Updating order status

Coordinating with courier/logistics partners

Tracking delayed or undelivered orders

Packaging & Dispatch Operations

Coordinating with the packaging team

Ensuring the correct product is packed against each order

Checking packaging material availability

Helping maintain dispatch records

Conducting basic quality checks before dispatch

Ensuring orders are dispatched within the required timeline





Marketplace Operations The intern may assist with platforms such as:

Company website / Shopify

Amazon

Flipkart

Myntra

Other marketplaces introduced by the company

Responsibilities may include listing updates, inventory updates, order management and basic marketplace coordination.

Data & Reporting

Maintaining Excel / Google Sheets

Preparing daily operational reports

Updating product and inventory sheets

Maintaining order records

Preparing basic sales and stock reports

Organising company data and documents

Reporting errors, pending work and operational issues to the management

Customer & Internal Coordination

Coordinating internally regarding orders, inventory and dispatch

Helping resolve basic order-related issues

Coordinating with photographers/designers for missing product information when required

Following up with courier and logistics partners

Escalating important customer or operational issues to management
