Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Drone Pilot role based in Meerut.
The Drone
Pilot will operate drones and UAVs for various surveying projects, including topographic mapping, infrastructure inspection, land development surveys, and other geospatial data collection tasks. Daily responsibilities include planning flight missions, conducting pre-flight checks, safely piloting drones in the field, and capturing high-quality imagery and sensor data. The role involves coordinating with survey and data processing teams, maintaining equipment,
and following safety and regulatory guidelines.
The Drone
Pilot will also assist with training team members on drone operations and support continuous improvement of mission workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong operational skills in Drone Piloting and Piloting, with hands-on experience flying drones or UAVs in field environments.
- Knowledge of Drones and UAV systems, including flight planning software, sensors, batteries, and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to provide or support Training related to drone operations, safety protocols, and basic mission planning.
- Understanding of surveying or geospatial workflows, such as mapping, data collection, and coordination with survey teams.
- Attention to detail, situational awareness, and commitment to safe flight practices and regulatory compliance.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and field staff on-site.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying field conditions and travel to project locations as needed.
- Relevant certification or license for drone piloting (as required by local regulations) and prior experience in commercial drone operations preferred.
