- Manage day-to-day operations of the assigned department to achieve sales, profit, and productivity targets
- Drive departmental sales through effective product presentation, customer engagement, and upselling
- Ensure excellent customer service by resolving customer queries and complaints promptly
- Plan and execute visual merchandising as per Pantaloons’ VM guidelines and seasonal themes
- Monitor stock levels, ensure timely replenishment, and maintain optimum inventory norms
- Reduce stock losses by controlling shrinkage, damages, and pilferage
- Analyze sales reports, conversion rates, and KPIs to identify improvement areas
- Train, motivate, and supervise department staff to improve performance and service standards




- Prepare duty rosters and manage manpower effectively during peak and non-peak hours
- Coordinate with the store manager and other departments for smooth store operations
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and safety standards
- Handle returns, exchanges, and escalations within authorized limits
- Support promotions, recent launches, and discount events to maximize department performance
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and overall department appearance at all times
- Conduct regular briefings and product knowledge sessions for team members
