District Office Internship – Congresswoman Susie Lee (NV-03)

Congresswoman Susie Lee’s Las Vegas District Office is seeking interns for the spring 2027 term. District office interns gain hands-on experience with the front-line work of congressional representation—where Congress meets the people it serves.

Interns gain direct exposure to constituent services, community engagement, communications, and district operations.

Responsibilities may include assisting with constituent casework, drafting correspondence, researching issues affecting Nevada’s Third Congressional District, supporting the communications team, and helping staff prepare for community events, stakeholder meetings, and other official engagements.

Interns may also contribute to projects addressing local priorities and engage with constituents, community organizations, government agencies, and other partners throughout the District. Through this work,



interns develop a practical understanding of how a congressional office responds to constituent needs, builds relationships across the community, and brings local concerns into the Congresswoman’s work in Washington.

Schedule And Compensation

Hours are adaptable within the office’s regular 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule. Spring internships are part time (15-20 hours a week). Interns may be eligible for a monthly stipend.

Qualifications

Successful applicants should demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, professionalism, attention to detail, and an interest in public service. Applicants with ties to Nevada or an interest in serving Southern Nevada communities are encouraged to apply.
