Dimension / Scope of The Job: This position will be responsible for Leading and Managing Continuous Improvement across all Powertrain Plants in India.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY OF THE POSTION:

- Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies and initiatives.
- Achieving Monthly Target, Weekly Review, and analysis if any Gap
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and analyze process improvement opportunities; streamline workflows and eliminate inefficiencies.
- Conduct data analysis to assess current processes and measure performance metrics.
- Facilitate and drive workshops and training sessions on continuous improvement methodologies.
- Monitor and report on the progress of improvement projects.
- Implement 5S, Lean, Six Sigma, SMED or other improvement methodologies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Identify and prioritize improvement projects based on business goals.
- Provide guidance and support to teams on improvement tools and techniques.
- Data Analysis: Data-driven mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Implemented experience of Customer Specific requirements
- Good understanding of Conversion cost




- Knowledge on Power BI, Excel, presentation skill
- Six sigma (Green or yellow)
- Shop floor improvement tools, Time study / method study/ SMED
- Inventory / VSM / Bottle neck analysis

Technical Skills:

- Foundry and machining process Knowledge is a must.
- Knowledge on CNC machines and CNC programming.
- Improvement Methodologies: Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies and initiatives.
- Knowledge of Shop floor improvement and Quality improvement
- Monitor and report on the progress of improvement projects to management

Skills Soft Skills

- Analytical: Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Change Management: Change management expertise.
- Project Management: Excellent project management and organizational skills. Knowledge on Power BI

QUALIFICATION: Bachelor's degree in (Mechanical / Automobile) engineering, or a related field MBA from operations or both Experience: 15+ yrs. Experience is required from the Manufacturing Industry
