About the Role
Hindalco Industries Limited is inviting applications from Diploma holders to join its Copper IGT Plant as Diploma Apprentice Trainees. Apprentices will receive practical exposure to manufacturing operations, maintenance practices, utility systems, quality processes, safety standards, and continuous improvement initiatives under the guidance and supervision of experienced professionals.
The apprenticeship program is designed to provide hands-on learning and skill development while supporting plant functions through non-core operational and maintenance activities.
Key Learning Areas & Responsibilities
- Learn plant operations, manufacturing processes, and utility systems.
- Assist in routine maintenance, equipment inspections,
and shop-floor activities.
- Support data recording, reports, and documentation related to daily operations.
- Participate in safety, quality, and improvement initiatives.
- Work with experienced engineers and technicians to develop practical technical skills.
- Follow company safety standards, procedures, and workplace guidelines.
Eligibility
- Full-time Diploma in relevant engineering discipline.
- Freshers or recent diploma pass-outs.
- Robust willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
