Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai for a Diploma Electrical Engineer – Data Center Operations. The role involves monitoring and maintaining electrical systems supporting data center infrastructure, including power distribution units, switchgear, UPS systems, and backup generators.

The engineer will conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot electrical issues, support preventive and corrective maintenance, and help ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.

Responsibilities include working closely with facilities, IT, and vendor teams to maintain uptime, optimize energy usage, and document electrical system performance.



The role also requires responding to incidents, assisting in system upgrades, and contributing to improvement initiatives for reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Electricity principles relevant to data center operations.
- Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Design and Power Distribution for planning and supporting data center electrical layouts.
- Candidates should possess understanding of Power Systems, including UPS, generators, and related protection and control systems.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification is required.
- Experience in data center, industrial, or building services electrical operations is beneficial.
- Familiarity with safety standards, electrical codes, and energy management practices is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, use diagnostic tools, and prepare accurate technical documentation.
- Robust problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to work in shifts or on-call as needed.
