About the Role

This role owns the order lifecycle from intake through shipping, and serves as a trade-knowledgeable point of contact for wholesale, retail, and marketplace customers. You'll need to be an expert in diamonds and fine jewelry, a strong written communicator, and hands-on with our tech stack — ERP, Shopify, and CRM. You'll recognize buying intent in customer conversations and close straightforward sales yourself.

What You'll Do

Jewelry

- Enter jewelry orders from email, Shopify, or phone into our ERP and create Manufacturing Orders.
- Monitor order status at a high level and own shipping once a piece is complete — packaging, carrier, tracking, customer notification.
- Advise customers on diamond and jewelry specs (4Cs, certifications, settings, metals) and handle order, memo, and return inquiries.
- Recognize buying intent and close straightforward sales directly, including payment; escalate custom or high-value deals.

Diamonds





- Monitor and respond to Intercom and support email with technical accuracy on diamonds and our diamond platform.
- Lead the customer through technical integration of our app into their Shopify store
- Troubleshoot Shopify integration issues and escalate true bugs; spot and convert sales opportunities within support conversations.

What You Bring

- Expert-level knowledge of diamonds and fine jewelry.
- Proven experience with ERP systems, Shopify, and CRM/support tools (e.g., Intercom).
- Excellent written English and comfort with transaction/payment authority.
- Robust organizational discipline — nothing goes stale between order placed and shipped.
- Background in jewelry trade, retail/wholesale operations, or trade-facing customer service.
- Availability to overlap with US Central Time business hours.

Nice to have: GIA or similar gemological coursework, B2B marketplace or wholesale trading experience.
