Position Summary The Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Estate Management is responsible for the end-to-end operational integrity of the Estate South Region sites, overseeing engineering, maintenance, housekeeping infrastructure, vendor management, safety compliance, and capital upkeep of the property. The role ensures uninterrupted, high-quality facility operations that align with brand standards, guest/occupant experience, statutory requirements, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilitie s Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of all facility, engineering, and estate maintenance operations across the property . Develop and manage annual facility budgets, capital expenditure plans, and preventive maintenance schedules . Oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), civil, and utility systems, ensuring optimal uptime and asset life .
Manage third-party vendors, contractors, and AMC partners; negotiate contracts and monitor SLA compliance . Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental (HSE), fire, and local regulatory standards . Drive energy efficiency, sustainability, and resource optimization initiatives across the estate .
Lead, mentor, and manage a multi-disciplinary team for south regio n Coordinate with cross-functional departments (Operations, Procurement, HR, Finance, Security, Legal) for seamless service delivery . Prepare and present management reports, dashboards, and audit documentation to senior leadership .
Manage emergency response planning, business continuity protocols, and crisis management for facility-related incidents .
Oversee renovation, refurbishment, and new-asset commissioning projects from planning through handover . Should have thorough knowledge of RWA formations/Handovers/RERA and legal compliances DOD etc

Required Qualifications & Experienc e Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Facility Management, Hospitality, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred .12–15+ years of progressive experience in facility/estate management, with at least 4–5 years in a senior leadership role . Prior experience in resort, hospitality, large estate, or institutional facility operations strongly preferred . Demonstrated expertise in MEP systems, vendor contracts, HSE compliance, and capital project management . Professional certification (IFMA, BIFM, or equivalent Facility Management credential) is an advantage
