RoleSummary: NIQ is seeking a hands-on Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design, automate, secure, andoperatecloud-native delivery platforms. The role partners with development, operations, and security teams to improve deployment speed, platform reliability, and production resilience across Azure and Kubernetes environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions, including reusable workflows, quality gates, approvals, artifact promotion, deployment verification, and automated rollback.
- OperateproductionKubernetes environments, cluster upgrades, Helm/Kustomizedeployments, ingress, autoscaling, workload identity, RBAC, network policies, resource controls, and troubleshooting.
- Provision and manage Azure infrastructure through reusable Terraform modules and Ansible automation.
- ImplementGitOps-based delivery using Flux andmaintainconsistent, auditable promotion across integration, qa, staging, and production environments.
- Build observability across applications, infrastructure, Kubernetes, and pipelines using metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and actionable alerts.
- Embed security into the software supply chain throughsecretsmanagement, least-privilege access, SAST/SCA,IaCand container scanning, SBOMs and vulnerability remediation.
- Lead production incident response and root-cause analysis;maintainrunbooks, conduct post-incident reviews, and drive corrective actions.
- OptimizeAzure and Kubernetes performance and capacity;
- Work directly with code engineers to provide guidance and resolve issues, in alignment with the DevOps engineering standards.

Required Qualifications

- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud, SRE, infrastructure,



or software engineering, including ownership of production systems.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience operating Kubernetes and cloud environments in production.
- Robust Azure experience, including AKS, ACR, Key Vault, Entra ID, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Services,networking,private endpoints, managed identities, storage, and load-balancing services.
- Advanced experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Linux, Git, Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions, and artifact/container repositories.
- Experience implementing secure deployment pipelines,GitOpsworkflows, deployment strategies, automated testing, and rollback controls.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell and Groovy; experienceintegrating platforms through REST APIs.
- Solid knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, DNS, reverse proxies, ingress, load balancing, cloud networking, and application connectivity.
- Ability to lead complex initiatives, troubleshoot across the full stack, communicate clearly, and collaborate across engineering, operations, security, and product teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Java application delivery knowledge, including JVM troubleshooting, Maven or Gradle, packaging, runtime configuration, and deployment patterns.
- Experience with Flux, Ansible, Apache, NGINX, Oracle Database connectivity, CIAM platforms.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana,OpenTelemetry or equivalent tooling.

Role Expectations This is a hands-on individual-contributor role.The engineer is expected to write and review infrastructure and pipeline code, troubleshoot production systems,participatein deployments, take actions on incidents and work closely with the development teams.
