Crossing Infotech is offering a full-time remote internship opportunity for an aspiring DevOps Engineer to gain practical exposure to cloud infrastructure, Linux, version control, CI/CD, containerization, deployment workflows, and basic system administration.

The role focuses on assisting with development and deployment processes while gaining practical experience with commonly used DevOps tools and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

- Assist with development and deployment activities.
- Support basic CI/CD workflows under appropriate guidance.
- Assist with configuring and maintaining development environments.
- Work with Linux-based systems and perform basic system administration tasks.
- Assist with containerized application workflows using Docker.
- Support cloud-related tasks using platforms such as AWS.
- Assist with monitoring application and deployment environments.
- Troubleshoot basic deployment and workplace-related issues.
- Use Git for version control and collaborative development.
- Assist with automating repetitive development or deployment tasks.
- Maintain basic technical documentation for deployment processes.
- Work with developers to understand application deployment requirements.
- Assist with testing application deployments and configurations.
- Follow established security, access, and operational procedures.
- Complete assigned DevOps and infrastructure-related tasks within agreed timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or another cloud platform is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Docker is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of scripting using Python or Bash is an advantage.
- Academic or personal cloud and DevOps projects are welcome.

Stipend: ₹16,500 per month
