Required Skills

- 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience designing, building, and supporting cloud-native platforms, deployment pipelines, and automation frameworks in production environments
- Advanced proficiency with configuration, orchestration, and automation tools such as GitLab, Terraform, and related CI/CD tooling for full-stack delivery
- Proven experience implementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code practices, including reusable modules, environment consistency, peer review, and controlled promotion across environments
- Strong working knowledge of AWS serverless services including Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, EventBridge, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, networking, security controls, and managed service integration patterns
- Practical experience supporting serverless web services, API integrations, shell scripting, authentication patterns, privileged access management, and cloud security best practices
- Design, implement, and mature observability solutions using tools such as Splunk, Datadog, and CloudWatch to improve reliability, service health visibility, and operational response
- Build and tune actionable alerting strategies that reduce noise, detect user-impacting issues, and improve incident response and resolution times
- Apply strong understanding of serverless resiliency, fault tolerance, event-driven recovery patterns, backup, disaster recovery, and deployment rollback strategies for business-critical services
- Administer, secure, and continuously improve cloud environments across Production, Development, QA,



and lower environments
- Implement and support safe production deployment practices for serverless workloads, including release automation, validation checks, canary or phased deployments, and controlled rollback plans
- Conduct system analysis, performance tuning, capacity and cost review, and root cause analysis to improve serverless platform availability, scalability, and operational efficiency
- Integrate and support vendor APIs and managed AWS services while maintaining reliability, security, observability, and operational standards

Operational Experience & Responsibilities:

- Partner with software engineers, product teams, architecture, and operations partners to design, deploy, and operate scalable AWS serverless services
- Own monitoring, triage, escalation, and communication for engineering issues, ensuring timely resolution and clear stakeholder alignment
- Lead incident response and problem resolution for assigned systems, including production support, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and follow-through on prevention measures
- Define, maintain, and champion DevOps tool standards, deployment practices, documentation, and reusable patterns for the team
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and review support to help teams adopt reliable, secure, and scalable DevOps practices
- Identify, recommend,



and implement process improvements that increase delivery speed, reduce manual effort, improve auditability, and strengthen operational resilience
- Participate in an on-call rotation and contribute to operational readiness activities that ensure 24/7 support for critical systems and infrastructure

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, a related technical field, or equivalent technology experience
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on DevOps experience in AWS serverless, cloud-native, or production platform engineering environments
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including automated testing, source control, CI/CD practices, and experience supporting complex distributed applications
- Strong understanding of mobile app build and release processes
- Experience working in an Agile product delivery environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and coordinate work with urgency
- Excellent presentation, verbal, written, interpersonal, and listening skills
