Role Description The DevOps Architect at Beta is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruvallur. This role is responsible for designing and implementing scalable DevOps architectures that support product development, deployment, and operations.

Day-to-day work includes defining CI/CD pipelines, implementing infrastructure as code, optimizing build and release processes, and ensuring reliable, secure, and observable systems. The DevOps Architect collaborates closely with software engineering, QA, and product teams to standardize environments, automate workflows, and improve deployment frequency and stability. The role also involves evaluating new tools and practices,



guiding DevOps best practices, and mentoring team members on automation, cloud, and reliability engineering.

Qualifications

- Solid expertise in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, with hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices for automating environment provisioning and configuration.
- Solid background in Software Development concepts and practices, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams.
- Experience in Solution Architecture, including designing scalable, secure, and resilient systems across environments.
- Practical experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to support reliable operations and incident response.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) and familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on automation and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
