Role Description The Design Manager is a full-time, in office role based in the Mumbai Division. This role oversees the end-to-end design process for residential interior projects, from initial client consultations and concept development to final execution and handover.

The Design

Manager collaborates closely with clients to understand requirements, leads design teams in creating layouts, material palettes, and 3D visualizations, and ensures that all designs align with project budgets and timelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with vendors and contractors, reviewing design documentation, maintaining quality standards, and resolving on-site design challenges.



The role also involves mentoring team members, implementing design best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement of SpazioLiv’s design processes and client experience.

Qualifications

- Strong interior design and spatial planning skills, with experience in residential projects and knowledge of current design trends.
- Proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with material selection and finishes.
- Project management capabilities, including budgeting, scheduling, resource coordination, and vendor/contractor management.
- Client-facing skills, such as needs assessment, presentation of concepts, negotiation, and relationship building.
- Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to guide designers, delegate tasks, and maintain performance standards.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on delivering high-quality, practical, and aesthetically aligned solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; equivalent experience may also be considered.
- Prior experience in a design lead or manager role, preferably in the home interiors sector, and readiness to work full-time on-site in Pune Division.
