Design Engineer – Composites

Job Summary

We are looking for a Design Engineer – Composites with an interest in composite tooling, mould design, CAD, and advanced surface modelling. Freshers with solid CAD fundamentals and relevant academic/project experience are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Design composite moulds, plugs, patterns, jigs, fixtures, and assembly tools.
- Develop master models and split-mould concepts for complex aerodynamic and structural components.
- Create and modify Class-A/Class-B surfaces from customer CAD or scanned data.
- Develop manufacturing-ready 3D models and detailed 2D engineering drawings.
- Prepare BOMs, consumable lists, standard parts lists, and engineering documentation.
- Manage drawing revisions, engineering changes, releases, and configuration records.
- Ensure documentation complies with ISO 9001 / AS9100 requirements.




- Coordinate with production during tooling fabrication and assembly and resolve design-related issues.
- Work with Composite Process, CNC, Quality, Procurement, Project Management, and Customer teams.

Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one CAD software: Siemens NX, CATIA, PTC Creo, SOLIDWORKS, or Solid Edge.
- Understanding of surface modelling and complex geometry.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T;.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Exposure to composites, aerospace, automotive, tooling, or mould design is an advantage.

Education B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Aerospace, Automobile, or a related engineering discipline.

Freshers: Candidates with strong CAD skills, relevant academic projects, internships, or training in composite/tooling design and surface modelling are encouraged to apply.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
