Urgent Prospect for the role of ELV Design Engineer Hyderabad Site

Job Summary The ELV Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and coordinating Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for mission-critical Data Center projects. The role involves preparing design drawings, technical specifications, calculations, BOQs, and ensuring compliance with international standards, client requirements, and project objectives. The engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary teams including MEP, ICT, Security, Fire Protection, and Civil teams to deliver efficient and reliable ELV infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Engineering

- Develop concept, schematic, detailed, and IFC designs for Data Center ELV systems.
- Prepare design calculations, system layouts, single-line diagrams, and equipment sizing.
- Design and coordinate the following ELV systems:
- Structured Cabling System (Copper & Fiber Optic)

- Data Network Infrastructure

- CCTV Surveillance System

- Access Control System

- Intrusion Detection Systems
- Public Address & Voice Evacuation System
- Building Management System (BMS) Interfaces
- Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM)
- Audio-Visual Systems

- Intercom Systems

- UPS monitoring integration

- Environmental Monitoring Systems

- Perimeter Security Systems
- Develop rack layouts, cable pathways, containment systems, and equipment room layouts.

Documentation & Coordination
- Prepare technical specifications, BOQs, design reports,



and compliance statements.
- Coordinate ELV requirements with Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural, and Fire Protection teams.
- Review vendor submissions, design proposals, and shop drawings.
- Participate in design review meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Ensure proper integration between ELV and critical facility systems.

- Implement best practices for reliability, redundancy, scalability, and cybersecurity requirements.

Project Support
- Provide technical support during project execution and commissioning.
- Assist procurement teams with technical evaluations and vendor selection.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.
- Participate in site inspections and technical audits when required.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related discipline.
- 4-10 years of experience in ELV system design, preferably in Data Center, Mission Critical, or Large Infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of Data Center ELV architecture and industry standards.
- Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and MS Office.
- Understanding of BIM coordination processes.
