Role & responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing marine, jetty, and berth construction projects.
- Coordinate marine construction activities, including piling, deck works, quay walls, dredging, and marine services.
- Ensure smooth integration between civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and marine activities.
- Review daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Identify project risks, delays, and potential bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Support contract administration, variation orders, claims management, and commercial reviews.
- Ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor implementation of QA/QC procedures and inspection plans.
- Ensure compliance with project HSE policies and marine safety regulations.
- Monitor implementation of risk assessments, permit systems, and emergency response procedures.
- Review engineering drawings,
technical specifications, and construction methodologies.
Preferred candidate profile
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Marine Engineering Construction Engineering.
- Master's Degree in Project Management or Structural Engineering is preferred.
Experience: 10 - 15+ years
Industry Experinece: EPC, marine civil works, port modernization, or terminal development projects preferred
Required Technical Skills:
- Marine structures and port infrastructure development.
- Jetty, berth, quay wall, piling, and dredging works.
- Project planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Contract management and project controls.
