Role & responsibilities

- Experience in Purchase Department from Motor / Generator/Heavy Engg Industries preferred.

- Sound Knowledge in procurement of Fabrication, Forging, Castings, Laminations, Welding &
- Machining.

- Should have knowledge of Supplier Audit, Supplier development process &

- Operation Purchase.

- Ensure delivery &

- Qualityof raw materials at right time

- Monitor &

- Review Each Buyers PR to PO conversion, if required escalation for any issues which is leading to Delay in conversion

- Monitor & work to improve the Dept KPI

- Negotiate with supplier to reduce price of the direct & indirect materials

- Knowledge in SAP(MM Module)
- Should able to manage purchase Team

- Positive at Negotiation,costing &

- Follow up.

- Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills.

- Reduction of Person Dependency and More of System Driven for the Day-to-Day Department Work.

- Involving in Trainings &

- Activities arranged by the Factory for the Section Heads.

- Team managing experience of 5-6 members for min 3 years.
