Role Description The Deputy Area Manager role at Bajaj Housing Finance Limited is a full time, on-site position based in Gurgaon. The role involves overseeing branch and area-level business activities, including achieving sales targets for home loans, loans against property, and other housing finance products.

The Deputy Area

Manager will manage and guide a team, monitor daily performance, support business development initiatives, and ensure high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities include coordinating with internal stakeholders, maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines,



and tracking key operational metrics for the assigned territory. The role also requires regular market visits to build and maintain relationships with channel partners, builders, and customers, and to identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications

- Strong people management and leadership skills, with experience supervising teams and driving performance.
- Proficiency in sales and business development within financial services or housing finance, including target achievement and pipeline management.
- Knowledge of housing finance products, loans against property, and NBFC operations, including credit, risk, and compliance fundamentals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills for working with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, including the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurgaon, conduct regular field visits, and manage multiple branches or locations within the area.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in housing finance, retail lending, or NBFC/Banking sector in a similar area or branch management role is highly beneficial.
