Role Description The Dental Specialist role at Scale Healthcare (India) is a full-time, remote position focused on supporting dental-related clinical and operational needs within a multisite healthcare environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting dental records, treatment plans, and clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with established standards.
The Dental
Specialist will collaborate with internal teams to clarify procedures, support coding and billing accuracy, and provide guidance on appropriate dental care pathways. The role also involves communicating with stakeholders to address clinical queries,
contributing to process improvements, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of dental best practices relevant to revenue cycle management. The position requires working independently in a remote setting while coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams across locations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess solid skills in Dental Care and general Dentistry, with a solid understanding of common procedures and treatment protocols.
- Candidates should possess skills in Oral Surgery practices, including familiarity with surgical indications, documentation, and postoperative care.
- Candidates should possess skills in Orthodontics, including treatment planning, appliance usage, and long-term patient management considerations.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Medicine as it relates to oral health, systemic conditions, and their impact on dental treatment.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Dentistry or a related dental field; valid professional credentials and registrations as applicable.
- Experience in a clinical dental setting, with exposure to multisite or group practice environments considered an advantage.
- Ability to interpret clinical documentation, support accurate coding and billing, and collaborate with non-clinical teams.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and comfort working in a remote, technology-enabled environment.
