South Indian DCDP – Job DescriptionJob Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled South Indian DCDP (Demi Chef de Partie) to oversee food preparation in the South Indian section and ensure consistent quality, taste, hygiene, and presentation as per hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare a variety of authentic South Indian dishes as per standard recipes.
- Handle daily mise en place and ensure timely preparation for service.
- Prepare South Indian breakfast, lunch, dinner, and specialty dishes.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, portion size, and presentation.
- Guide and supervise Commis and kitchen staff in the assigned section.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and usage of ingredients.
- Monitor food quality and freshness throughout kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the assigned section.
- Follow food safety, HACCP, and hotel hygiene standards.
- Control food wastage and ensure proper portion control.




- Coordinate with the Chef de Partie/Sous Chef for daily production and requirements.
- Assist in menu preparation, buffet setup, and special events when required.
- Ensure kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly.

Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in South Indian cuisine, preferably in a hotel or restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of South Indian cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Good leadership and team-handling skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Job Type Full-time | On-site

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
