Role Summary The Delivery Lead (known as Delivery Manager in other organizations) sits between the Delivery Partner and Project Manager in the delivery hierarchy — owning end-to-end delivery of Data & Analytics programs for one or more client accounts, depending on account size, and ensuring governance, quality, and strong client stakeholder relationships. This is a generic role deployed across verticals; specific vertical experience is a nice-to-have, not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Ownership

- Own end-to-end delivery of D&A; programs for one or more client accounts, scaling scope with account size and complexity
- Drive program planning, execution tracking, and milestone management across owned accounts
- Embed standardized delivery and automation practices across each account

Client & Stakeholder Management

- Serve as the primary client-facing point of contact for delivery matters on owned accounts
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and proactively manage expectations
- Lead delivery governance forums (status reviews, steering committees) with client leadership

Governance, Quality & Risk





- Ensure delivery governance and quality standards are met across engagements
- Proactively identify delivery risks and drive mitigation and escalation as needed
- Deliver scalable, insight-driven solutions aligned to client business outcomes

Team & Project Management Oversight

- Direct and mentor Project Managers/project leads within owned accounts, providing delivery direction beyond single-project execution
- Manage delivery estimation, staffing, and financial performance for assigned accounts
- Track utilization, billing milestones, and margin across owned accounts
- Escalate portfolio-level risks, resourcing gaps, or growth opportunities to the Delivery Partner where applicable

Must-Have Skills & Experience

- Strong delivery management experience on analytics/D&A; projects
- Client-facing experience with senior stakeholders
- Working knowledge of cloud data ecosystems (AWS/Azure/GCP data platforms)
- Solid grounding in delivery governance, estimation, and financial management
- Demonstrated hands-on delivery ownership, not just program oversight
- Experience directing or mentoring Project Managers, or a track record of managing multiple concurrent workstreams/accounts

Preferred / Nice-to-Have





- Domain experience in Financial Services & Payments (FSP) — e.g., SOX, PCI-DSS, Basel, banking/payments data ecosystems — is a plus
- Domain experience in Healthcare — e.g., HIPAA, HL7/FHIR, payer/provider analytics — is a plus
- Domain experience in Retail — e.g., merchandising, supply chain, or customer/loyalty analytics — is a plus
- Domain experience in Manufacturing — e.g., Industry 4.0, IoT/OT data, supply chain or quality analytics — is a plus
- PMP, Agile/Scrum, or Scaled Agile (SAFe) certification
- Relevant cloud certification (AWS/Azure/GCP data or analytics track)
- Experience with delivery reporting/tooling (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Power BI, Tableau)

Education & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 12–18 years of overall experience, including meaningful experience managing and delivering analytics/D&A; projects, with hands-on client-facing delivery ownership

Success Looks Like — First 6–12 Months

- Strong client relationship established; delivery predictability visibly improved
- Account governance cadences (steering committee, status reporting) fully operational
- Standardized delivery practices and playbooks embedded across owned account(s)

Profiles We Are Not looking at This Point

- Pure PMO or BI-developer profiles without delivery ownership
- Profiles without hands-on delivery ownership or client interfacing experience
- No prior exposure to Data & Analytics engagements
