Role Summary

We are seeking a Project Engineer / Delivery Engineer – Cooling Systems to support the engineering and execution of cooling systems for data center projects. The role will be responsible for coordinating technical design, equipment procurement, site execution, testing, commissioning, and handover, ensuring systems are delivered in accordance with project specifications, schedule, quality, and performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day engineering and delivery activities for data center cooling systems, including chillers, AHU/PAHU/ DHAH/DHAC units, cooling towers/dry coolers, Pumps, heat exchangers, chilled-water piping, valves, controls, and BMS.
- Review HVAC/cooling designs, calculations, equipment selections, technical specifications, drawings, and submittals.
- Coordinate with consultants, OEMs, contractors, suppliers, electrical teams, BMS/controls teams, and other MEP disciplines.
- Prepare and track technical submittals, RFIs, material approvals, shop drawings, method statements, ITPs, and as-built documentation.
- Support equipment procurement and monitor manufacturing, FAT, logistics, delivery, and site installation.
- Coordinate site activities to ensure correct installation, alignment, testing, and integration of cooling equipment and systems.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and highlight technical, material, or execution risks.
- Lead/support pre-commissioning, commissioning, performance testing, and integrated systems testing (IST).




- Troubleshoot technical issues related to cooling system performance, controls, hydraulics, balancing, and equipment operation.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, ASHRAE requirements, safety standards, and client requirements.
- Maintain project documentation and support final inspection, snag closure, testing records, O&M; manuals, and handover.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Building Services, or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in HVAC/cooling system engineering and project delivery, preferably within data centers or other mission-critical facilities.
- Robust practical knowledge of chilled-water systems, heat rejection, AHU/PAHU/ DHAH/DHAC systems, pumps, piping, valves, controls/BMS, and HVAC commissioning.
- Experience coordinating engineering consultants, OEMs, contractors, and site teams.
- Ability to interpret HVAC schematics, P&IDs;, GA drawings, equipment drawings, control diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Experience with testing, commissioning, TAB, and troubleshooting of cooling systems is highly desirable.
- Good understanding of redundancy concepts (N+1, 2N), system availability, capacity management, and energy efficiency in data centers.
- Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
