Preferred experience: - 7 years The Role:

We are looking for an experienced MySQL L3 Production Support Engineer to manage, troubleshoot, and optimize critical MySQL database environments. The role involves handling complex production incidents, database performance tuning, replication, high availability, disaster recovery, and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

∙Provide L3 production support for MySQL 5.7 and MySQL 8.0 databases.

∙Manage and troubleshoot MySQL Replication, GTID, and replication-related issues.

∙Perform database performance tuning and query optimization.

∙Implement and support High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.

∙Manage database backup, restoration, and recovery activities.





∙Troubleshoot InnoDB, database locks, deadlocks, crashes, and performance issues.

∙Perform detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical production incidents.

∙Work on Linux environments and Shell Scripting for database automation and monitoring.

∙Support MySQL databases hosted on AWS RDS and Aurora MySQL.

∙Use Percona Toolkit and XtraBackup for database analysis, backup, and maintenance.

∙Handle Incident Management and Problem Management activities and ensure timely resolution of production issues.

Must-Have Qualifications

∙Solid experience in MySQL 5.7 / 8.0 L3 Production Support, including production issue resolution and database troubleshooting.

∙Hands-on experience with MySQL Replication, GTID, InnoDB, Backup & Recovery.

∙Expertise in Performance Tuning and Query Optimization for MySQL databases.

∙Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery environments.

∙Working knowledge of Linux, Shell Scripting, AWS RDS / Aurora MySQL, Percona Toolkit, and XtraBackup.

∙Strong experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Incident Management, and Problem Management.
