Role Description The Data Integration Lead will oversee end-to-end data integration initiatives, with a focus on projects leveraging Label Studio Enterprise and voice annotation workflows. This is a full-time/Contract, role. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing data pipelines, coordinating ETL processes, and ensuring accurate data flow between warehousing, modeling, and annotation platforms.

The role involves leading the setup and optimization of Label Studio Enterprise for voice annotation projects, collaborating with data scientists and annotation teams to define data requirements, and maintaining data quality and consistency.

The Data Integration

Lead will also document integration architectures, troubleshoot data issues, and provide technical guidance to team members to support reliable and scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex datasets,



troubleshoot integration issues, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in data integration and Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes, including designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines.
- Experience with data modeling and data warehousing concepts, ensuring structured, scalable, and performant data storage solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Label Studio Enterprise, especially in configuring and managing voice annotation projects and workflows.
- Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL), API-based integrations, and modern data engineering tools and frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in AI/ML data pipelines, data governance, and security best practices is beneficial.

Design and configure Labelbox projects, roles, permissions, queues, workflows, T1/T2 comparison, T3 routing, QA and rework stages. Own Amazon S3 ingestion and delivery, JSON/schema validation, exports and audit records.

Automate dashboards, operational reporting, workflow checks and repetitive PM/QA tasks.

- Test platform changes, monitor failures and incidents, troubleshoot integrations and maintain technical documentation.
