Role & responsibilities:

We're hiring a Data Engineer to join an ongoing client data pipeline project built on

SQL, Snowflake, and dbt. This is a full time role with potential for long-term growth based on performance.

Key responsibilities

- Build and maintain data models using dbt (staging, intermediate, and mart layers)
- Write and optimize SQL queries against Snowflake, including joins, CTEs, and

window functions
- Design and implement dbt tests to ensure data quality and catch issues early
- Debug pipeline issues such as data freshness gaps, incremental load failures, and

performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate closely with a senior engineer on architecture decisions and code review
- Communicate clearly on progress, blockers, and technical trade-offs





Preferred candidate profile:

- 1-4 years of hands-on experience with SQL and Snowflake
- Working experience with dbt models, tests, and project structure
- Strong SQL fundamentals: joins, CTEs, window functions, query optimization
- Ability to explain your technical reasoning clearly and defend your design choices
- Python knowledge for scripting or orchestration is a plus
