Role Description The Data Annotation Fresher role at Innovatics is an on-site position based in Ahmedabad. In this role, the team member will review, label, categorize, and validate data such as text, images, or other digital content to support AI and machine learning models.

Day-to-day tasks include following detailed annotation guidelines, maintaining accuracy and consistency, performing quality checks on annotated datasets, and collaborating with project leads to clarify requirements or edge cases. The role also involves updating progress trackers,



reporting issues, and supporting continuous improvement of annotation workflows. This position is suitable for individuals starting their career in data and AI who are comfortable with repetitive tasks and attentive to detail.

Qualifications

- Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions, with strong attention to detail and accuracy in data labeling and review.
- Basic familiarity with data, AI, or machine learning concepts, and interest in building a career in data operations or analytics.
- Proficiency with computers, web-based tools, and spreadsheets or annotation platforms; comfort working with large volumes of digital content.
- Strong observation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills to handle ambiguous cases and maintain annotation consistency.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and project leads.
- Ability to work in office in Ahmedabad, manage time well, and meet productivity and quality targets.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in any discipline; coursework in data, computer science, or related areas is an advantage.
- Prior internship or project experience in data entry, quality assurance, or annotation is a plus but not mandatory.
