Role Overview:
The Data Analyst – Operations & Performance at Mech Choice Tools is a pivotal role focused on converting plant-floor data into actionable insights to enhance productivity, accuracy, and efficiency in our manufacturing operations. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can manage and analyze data from various production sections, ensuring data integrity and supporting management with critical business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Management and Analysis:
- Consolidate and analyze daily data from all production sections, including forging, machining, polishing, plating, assembly, and packing.
- Ensure data integrity across SAP, PMS, and Excel systems, maintaining accurate records for route-card tracking, manpower deployment, output, rework, rejection, and downtime.
1. Reporting and Visualization:
- Prepare and automate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports aligned with key KPIs of Quantity, Quality, Time, and Cost.
- Develop and maintain visual dashboards and insights using tools like Power BI or Google Data Studio to support management decisions.
1. Process Improvement:
- Identify production bottlenecks and analyze trends to recommend data-backed process improvements.
- Enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
and reduce inefficiencies through strategic data analysis.
1. Audit and Compliance Support:
- Support audits and compliance by producing accurate, traceable reports.
- Maintain section-wise comparative performance summaries to ensure transparency and accountability.
1. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the CEO, Plant Manager, and other stakeholders to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Communicate complex data insights in a clear, concise manner to various levels of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing analytics, MIS reporting, or production data management, preferably in an engineering or process-driven setup.
- Strong analytical skills with an advanced command of Excel, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
- Working knowledge of SAP or ERP systems.
- Detail-oriented and disciplined with the ability to transform raw data into clear, visual business intelligence.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to recommend actionable improvements.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey insights and collaborate with team members.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
