Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Cytogenetics Technician / Executive to join our laboratory team. The candidate will be responsible for processing samples, chromosome/cell culture-related work, slide preparation, staining, and laboratory documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, verify, and process samples as per laboratory SOPs.
- Perform cell culture and chromosome preparation procedures.
- Prepare slides and perform required staining techniques.
- Assist in karyotyping and chromosome analysis.
- Handle blood, bone marrow, and other cytogenetic specimens as per SOPs.
- Maintain proper sample identification, records, and documentation.
- Perform quality control checks and maintain laboratory standards.




- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment as per SOPs.
- Follow laboratory safety, quality, and infection-control procedures.
- Coordinate with senior staff/pathologists for smooth workflow.

Qualification
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Genetics, or B.Sc./M.Sc. MLT.
- Candidates with relevant Cytogenetics / Molecular Biology laboratory exposure will be preferred.

Skills
- Basic knowledge of cell culture, chromosome preparation, staining, and karyotyping.
- Good laboratory and documentation skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to learn advanced cytogenetics techniques.
- Ability to work in a team setting.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
