Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant with 6–8 years of hands-on experience across Finance and Supply Chain Management (SCM). The candidate should have solid functional expertise in Finance, Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory Management, Sales, Warehouse/Inventory processes and Fixed Assets, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable D365 F&O; solutions.

The candidate must have participated in or delivered at least 2–3 end-to-end D365 F&O; implementations covering requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, data migration, training, deployment, go-live and post-go-live support.

1. Business Requirement & Solution Design

- Conduct requirement gathering and discovery workshops.
- Analyze existing processes and perform Fit-Gap analysis against standard D365 F&O; functionality.
- Prepare BRD/FRD, Fit-Gap, solution design documents and process flows.
- Recommend standard D365 functionality wherever possible and identify configuration, customization, integration, reporting or ISV requirements.
- Work closely with technical consultants, architects and integration teams.

2. Finance Functional Expertise

- General Ledger: Chart of Accounts, account structures, financial dimensions, fiscal calendars, ledger setup, journals, allocations, accruals,



period closing and intercompany accounting.
- Payable Accounts: Vendor master, vendor groups, purchase invoices, invoice matching, payment journals, payment proposals, settlements and aging.
- Accounts Receivable: Customer master, customer groups, free-text invoices, payments, settlements, credit notes, collections and aging.
- Cash & Bank Management: Bank accounts, reconciliation, payment methods, electronic payments and bank statements.
- Fixed Assets: Asset groups, books, acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, disposal and reporting.

3. SCM Functional Expertise

- Procurement & Sourcing: Procurement categories, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, RFQs, vendor selection, purchase agreements, workflows and three-way matching.
- Inventory Management: Products/released products, item groups, inventory dimensions, sites, warehouses, locations, batch/serial tracking, journals, transfers, adjustments, counting and inventory closing.
- Sales & Order Management: Sales orders, pricing, discounts, sales agreements, picking, packing, shipment, invoicing and returns.
- Warehouse Management: Location directives, work templates, mobile device processes, picking, put-away, replenishment, cycle counting and wave processing.

4. Data Migration, Integration Knowledge, Workflow & Automation, Reporting & Analytics, Testing, Training & Documentation, Go-Live & Support:

- Cutover planning, data validation, go-live readiness, production support, issue prioritization, RCA, hyper care and stabilization.

5. Hospital/Medicare experience will be an added Advantage.
