Role & responsibilities

1. Proficiency in Creo Software

- Hands-on experience in Creo Parametric for 3D modeling and concept design.

- Ability to create detailed 2D drawings with GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) knowledge.

1. Tool & Fixture Design Expertise

- Design of assembly tools, tackles, and fixtures for manufacturing processes.

- Robust understanding of manufacturing methods like machining, welding, hardening, and heat treatment.

1. Material Selection

- Ability to select appropriate materials for tools, fixtures, and tackles based on strength, durability, and cost.

1. Concept Development & Modeling

- Capability to develop 3D concepts for fixtures and convert them into manufacturable designs.

- Knowledge of design validation and optimization techniques.

1. GD&T; and Standards Compliance

- Familiarity with for GD&T.;

- Understanding of Model-Based Definition (MBD) practices.

Additional Technical Skills

- Tolerance Analysis and stack-up calculations.

- Error-proofing techniques (Poka-Yoke) and FMEA awareness.

- Reverse Engineering and adaptation of existing designs.
