As an Analyst – Cricket Operations at EXVIA, you will play a key role in supporting live cricket scoring operations and basic analytics. You will be responsible for capturing and validating ball-by-ball match data, ensuring data accuracy, and assisting in the creation of reliable datasets and easy reports. Working closely with senior analysts and team leads, you will contribute to seamless match operations and data quality, while developing your expertise in sports analytics.

Key Responsibilities

● Record and validate ball-by-ball match data using digital scoring software and established processes.

● Score live cricket matches, capturing runs, wickets, extras, dismissals, overs, and milestones.

● Cross-check scores with official sources and assist in resolving discrepancies during and after matches.

● Flag data quality issues or unusual events promptly to senior analysts or supervisors.

● Follow defined workflows, documentation standards, and service level agreements.





● Assist in producing clean, reliable datasets and simple reports for clients.

● Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth match operations and data integrity.

● Maintain focus and attention to detail throughout the duration of live matches.

Required Skills

● 1-4 years of experience as a scorer, cricket enthusiast, or in sports/data roles.

● Strong understanding of cricket laws, formats, and match situations (DLS, super over, retirements, penalties).

● Proficiency in using computers, scoring apps, spreadsheets, and communication tools.

● Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail.

● Ability to maintain concentration for the full duration of a match.

● Flexibility to work match-based schedules, including evenings, weekends, and tournaments.

Nice to Have

● Experience with Excel or Google Sheets.

● Ability to assist in producing clean, reliable datasets and simple reports for clients.
