Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Credit Officer role based in Ahmedabad.

The Credit

Officer will assess and evaluate credit proposals for retail and small business customers, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines. Daily responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, verifying customer documentation, conducting field visits as needed,



and preparing credit appraisal reports for approval. The role also involves monitoring portfolio performance, identifying early signs of risk, and recommending appropriate risk mitigation measures.

The Credit

Officer will collaborate with branch teams and other stakeholders to maintain credit quality, support business growth, and provide clear, professional communication to customers regarding credit decisions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Credit Management and Credit assessment.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for evaluating financial data and risk.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Finance and related financial products.
- Candidates should possess transparent and professional Communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in NBFCs, banks, or financial services, especially in credit or underwriting, is preferred.
- Ability to work with MS Excel and other financial analysis tools, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong ethical standards, customer-centric mindset, and ability to work effectively in a branch and field environment.
