- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time (Sacramento, CA)

Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance within a complex and highly regulated industry
- Perform in-depth financial analysis and provide strategic insights to support key business decisions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize financial processes, systems, and workflows
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management, translating complex data into actionable insights
- Manage, mentor, and develop accounting team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and competitiveness
- Drive the implementation of financial technologies to streamline operations and enhance reporting capabilities

Requirements

- CPA certification with a proven track record in accounting leadership




- Must have Xero and QuickBooks experience
- Must have purchasing experience and Acumatica software experience
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a senior management role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards, preferably within regulated industries
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and mentoring accounting teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Proficiency with advanced accounting software and financial management tools
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote workplace while managing multiple priorities
