The Opportunity:
The Country Head owns the performance of Rang Technologies' entire India business the Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Noida, and Aligarh centers together. You will set the direction each Center Head executes against, hold them accountable to a shared scorecard, and make sure the centralized functions that support every center (PMO, Marketing & Communications, Learning & Development, and Client/Candidate Relations) are working in service of one consistent, high-performing India operation. You are the single point of accountability for India's contribution to the global business, and the primary link between India leadership and the CEO Desk.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & P&L; Leadership
- Own the consolidated P&L; and strategic direction for all India centers, in partnership with Finance.
- Set annual targets and the balanced scorecard for each Center Head, and lead the monthly P&L; and performance review with the CEO Desk and the CEO.
- Own and approve headcount plans and new-seat proposals across centers, partnering with Finance and HR on the underlying business case.
- Identify and prioritize growth opportunities new accounts, new skills, new verticals, or new center capacity across the India footprint.
Center Leadership & Governance
- Provide unified leadership across all India centers, ensuring consistent delivery standards, operational discipline, and culture regardless of location.
- Act as the escalation point for cross-center issues and budget variances raised by Center Heads.
- Run quarterly business reviews with each center, covering headcount plans, growth pipeline, and scorecard progress.
- Build and safeguard the leadership bench across centers, supporting Center Heads on succession planning.
Centralized Function Oversight
- Direct the PMO Leader to keep process and playbook standards current and consistently adopted across centers.
- Direct the Marketing & Communications function to align brand, employer communications, and market positioning with corporate strategy.
- Direct the Learning & Development function to build the capability pipeline the centers need to scale.
- Direct the Client/Candidate Relations function to keep hiring pipelines and client relationships strong across the India business.
- Partner with the VP – Shared Services (HR, IT, Finance, Accounting) to ensure compensation, IT, and financial standards are adopted consistently across all centers.
Stakeholder & Global Alignment
- Represent the India business to the CEO and CEO Desk, and partner with the APAC CEO where India and APAC priorities intersect.
- Translate US and global account requirements into India delivery capacity, working through Center Heads.
Reporting & Cadence:
- Reports to the CEO Desk.
- Monthly: consolidated India P&L; and scorecard review with the CEO Desk and the CEO.
- Monthly/Quarterly: individual P&L; and scorecard reviews with each Center Head.
- Quarterly: India business review covering headcount plan and growth pipeline for all centers.
What We're Looking For:
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in the staffing, recruitment, or workforce solutions industry, including experience leading multiple offices, business units, or P&Ls; simultaneously.
- Proven record of owning a multi-site or multi-crore P&L;, with solid commercial and financial acumen.
- Experience leading leaders — managing and developing a team of senior managers (Center Heads or equivalent) across geographically distributed locations.
- Strong understanding of the US staffing/delivery model and the ability to translate global account needs into India-based delivery capacity.
- Executive-level stakeholder management skills, with experience reporting to and partnering with C-suite / global leadership.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent business qualification strongly preferred.
