Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Legal Head with 12+ years of experience in corporate law, contract management, regulatory compliance, and litigation to lead the organization's legal function, safeguard business interests, and provide strategic legal counsel to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the organization's legal department, providing strategic guidance on all legal matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, agreements, and MOUs.
- Ensure organization-wide compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Advise the Board and senior management on corporate governance, risk, and regulatory matters.
- Oversee litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution proceedings, engaging external counsel as needed.
- Lead legal due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions.
- Manage intellectual property matters, including trademarks, patents, and licensing agreements.




- Develop and implement legal policies, frameworks, and standard operating procedures across the organization.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations and assess their impact on business operations.
- Liaise with external law firms, regulators, government bodies, and industry associations.
- Mitigate legal risks by proactively identifying issues and recommending corrective actions.
- Mentor and manage the internal legal team, fostering a culture of compliance and accountability.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB); LLM or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Enrolled with the Bar Council of India (or relevant jurisdiction) as a practicing advocate.

Valuable to Have

- 12+ years of experience in corporate legal roles, with at least 4–5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong track record in handling M&A; transactions and large-scale commercial contracts.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate, commercial, and regulatory laws applicable to the industry.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and mentoring legal teams.
- High level of integrity, sound judgment, and ability to handle confidential matters.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
