Role Description The Copywriter role at Superfan.ng is a full-time, remote position responsible for creating clear, engaging, and culturally informed written content across digital channels. In this role, you will craft copy for the app, website, email campaigns, social media, and marketing materials that reflect African languages, proverbs, and cultural themes.

You will develop compelling narratives for product launches and updates, support brand storytelling, and ensure consistent tone and voice across all communication touchpoints. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and refining copy, collaborating with product, design, and marketing teams,



and adapting messages for different audience segments. You will also review and optimize existing content to improve clarity, engagement, and alignment with SPNG’s mission.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Writing and Copywriting, with the ability to produce clear, engaging content tailored to diverse audiences.
- Robust Communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present ideas clearly.
- Experience crafting Press Releases and other media-facing content to support product announcements and company news.
- Proficiency in Marketing-oriented copy, including promotional campaigns, landing pages, and user acquisition messaging.
- Excellent Proofreading and editing skills, with attention to detail, grammar, and consistency in tone and style.
- Familiarity with or interest in African languages, cultures, and folklore; experience in edtech or cultural content is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage deadlines, and prioritize multiple projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
