Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible, hygienic, and experienced Cook to prepare nutritious and hygienic meals/snacks for students and staff. The candidate should maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen management.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare meals, snacks, and refreshments as per the school’s requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and cooking area.
- Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ensure food is fresh, properly cooked, and served on time.
- Maintain proper storage of food items and ingredients.
- Check the quality and freshness of vegetables, groceries, and other ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness of cooking utensils, equipment, and kitchen facilities.
- Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
- Maintain basic records of kitchen supplies and inform management about requirements.




- Follow the school’s safety and hygiene policies.
- Cooperate with school staff and support kitchen-related activities when required.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cook is preferred.
- Experience in a school, hostel, daycare, hospital, or institutional kitchen will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
- Responsible, punctual, and hardworking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to manage regular kitchen duties.

Salary

₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
