Overview

Lead quality convergence activities during vehicle development and launch phases by coordinating cross-functional teams, monitoring quality readiness, tracking issue resolution, and ensuring robust quality performance against project milestones. Drive quality governance, risk identification, and continuous improvement to support successful product launches.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate quality convergence activities across vehicle development and production launch phases.
- Define and validate sampling plans in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders for prototype and production builds.
- Participate in production readiness meetings to ensure vehicle availability for quality evaluations and audits.
- Support evaluation and analysis of initial build vehicles, prototype parts, and quality validation activities.
- Review customer and internal quality feedback to identify trends, prioritize issues, and drive corrective actions.
- Coordinate quality issue review meetings and manage the tracking, prioritization, and closure of quality deviations.
- Prepare quality dashboards, management reports, and project status summaries highlighting key risks, KPIs, and action progress.
- Drive cross-functional teams to ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor quality convergence metrics and provide accurate quality forecasts for upcoming vehicle builds.
- Escalate critical quality risks and unresolved issues to project leadership as required.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, supplier quality, validation, and program management teams to achieve project quality objectives.




- Ensure compliance with organizational quality processes, standards, and project milestones.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and launch readiness.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering / Production Engineering or related discipline

Essential skills

- Strong understanding of automotive product development and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of automotive quality management methodologies and problem-solving tools including:
- 5 Why Analysis
- 8D Problem Solving
- DFMEA
- QFD
- SPC
- Seven Basic Quality Tools

- Experience in vehicle quality audits, including:

- Appearance Quality
- Functional Evaluation
- Water Leak/Water Tightness Validation

- Ability to perform root cause analysis and drive cross-functional issue resolution.
- Experience in quality KPI tracking, reporting, and dashboard preparation.
- Strong analytical, data interpretation, and technical problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of prototype builds, launch quality, and production readiness activities
