Content Writer — Hiring
We are looking for a creative and research-oriented Content Writer (0-2 years of experience) who can write highly engaging scripts for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other short-form video platforms .
What you'll do
- Write 30–60 second short-form video scripts designed to grab attention immediately.
- Create robust hooks in the first 1–3 seconds.
- Turn interesting topics, facts, stories, and concepts into fast-paced, entertaining scripts .
- Write in a conversational style that feels natural when spoken by a narrator.
- Structure scripts with strong retention, curiosity, suspense, and payoff .
- Research topics and verify important facts before writing.
- Adapt writing based on the visual/animation requirements of the video.
- Come up with engaging angles and storytelling approaches for common topics.
- Rewrite and improve scripts based on feedback.
What we're looking for
- Fluent English writing and storytelling skills .
- Understanding of YouTube Shorts/Reels pacing and audience retention .
- Ability to write concise content without unnecessary filler.
- Strong curiosity and research skills.
- Ability to explain complex or unusual topics in a simple, entertaining way .
- Good sense of humour, suspense, and storytelling.
- Experience writing short-form scripts is a plus .
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
Ideal candidate 0-2 years of experience; someone who regularly watches Shorts/Reels and understands why people stop scrolling, keep watching, and share a video .
You should be able to take a simple topic and turn it into a script that makes someone think:
“Wait… WHAT? I need to watch this.”
