Gallery Admin | Full-time, physical role based in Chennai.

Requirements

- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Strong computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), PDF handling, Email correspondence, Google Workspace
- Ability to draft letters, emails, and written communications, ability to use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini.
- Assist with gallery displays/installations and upkeep.
- Coordinate clerical and administrative activities.
- Documentation, record-keeping, and filing.
- Assist with event coordination, public interaction during exhibitions and gallery activities, and coordination with housekeeping staff for gallery upkeep.
- Support exhibition setup and gallery operations.
- Prepare weekly activity reports, maintain visitor records, and track incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Training and/or experience in visual communication and design.




- Working knowledge of: Adobe Photoshop, Canva, InShot an advantage
- Portfolio demonstrating real-world design experience.
- Experience managing or creating content for Instagram pages.
- Ability to work to a schedule and prepare design material ahead of exhibitions, events.
- Background in art and design, or a demonstrated interest in learning about and understanding gallery requirements.
- Active Instagram profile demonstrating visual sensibility, creative interests, or design work preferred.

Additional Requirements

- Full time, physical presence in Chennai.
- Regular working hours (10:00 AM- 6:30 PM )
- Occassionally, will have to attend events that may extend until 9 PM.
- Tuesdays off

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
