We are looking for an experienced Consultant Pathologist responsible for accurate diagnosis and interpretation of laboratory investigations, maintaining quality standards, and providing expert consultation to clinicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and clinical pathology investigations.
- Review and validate laboratory test results before reporting.
- Examine and interpret histopathology and cytology samples, where applicable.
- Provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports.
- Correlate laboratory findings with clinical information.
- Guide laboratory technicians and ensure proper sample processing.
- Monitor and maintain laboratory quality control and quality assurance standards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laboratory and patient-safety protocols.
- Participate in audits, quality improvement programs, and clinical discussions.
- Handle critical values and communicate urgent findings to concerned doctors.
- Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality of patient records.
