Consultant for Sustainable Industrialization ProgrammeBackground The Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), India's leading public policy research institution, is looking for candidates for its sustainable industrialization team. The team works on various agendas for improved industrialization like industrial air pollution, energy efficiency, renewable energy, environmental governance, and decarbonisation to develop industrial roadmaps and assist the stakeholders in the implementation of various developed strategies. The team is looking to expand their capacity and thus looking for candidates to join their group.

Job Profile The candidate is expected to support policy research, advocacy, communication, and capacity building around the programme. The job will entail, but not be limited to:

- Researching and writing for policy papers
- Travelling for ground surveys, meetings, workshops, and similar activities
- Reporting developments on relevant issues in Down To Earth
- Interacting with stakeholders such as policy makers, regulators, media, industry, and civil society organizations
- Participating in relevant conferences and workshops
- Conducting capacity building programmes for various stakeholders





The candidate should be open to extensive travel as per requirement. The candidate should have strong research and analytical skills along with a flair for writing both technical reports and articles. He/she should be hard-working, self-motivated, and disciplined.

Qualification and Experience The candidate should have 2-3 years of relevant work experience. Candidates with a master's degree in environment or other engineering backgrounds with experience in the field of environment and understanding of industrial issues may apply.

Salary & Designation Will commensurate with experience and skills.
