Toony Studios is a full-service animation and VFX studio based in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Our team spans VFX, 2D Animation, and Editing & Music. We develop original IPs and run Funmoji Telugu, one of the leading Telugu animation channels on YouTube with 3.4M+ subscribers.

Role Summary

We're looking for a 3D CG Generalist who can independently handle complete shots from start to finish. This is not a single-department role — you'll work across the entire 3D pipeline, building environments, characters, and full sequences for our original content and client projects.

Key Responsibilities

? Model hard surface and organic assets (characters, props, environments)

? Texture and shade assets to production quality

? Rig characters and props for animation

? Animate shots as per storyboard and direction

? Light and render sequences with consistent visual quality

? Build large-scale environments — terrains, vegetation, and asset scattering





? Create FX and simulations as needed

? Composite final shots and deliver render-ready output

? Collaborate with the 2D, editing, and music teams to meet deadlines

Required Software Skills

✅ Blender

✅ 3ds Max

✅ Houdini

✅ Gaea (terrain generation)

✅ Scattering workflows — Forest Pack, Geometry Nodes, or similar

Requirements

✔️ Minimum 3+ years in animation/VFX production

✔️ Hands-on experience in ALL departments — Modeling, Texturing, Rigging, Animation, Lighting, FX, Compositing

✔️ Ability to own shots end to end without supervision

✔️ Robust eye for composition, color, and detail

✔️ Showreel is MANDATORY — must show work across multiple departments

✔️ Willing to work on-site in Gachibowli, Hyderabad
