Role Description The Compliance Engineer will work in office in Chennai and will be responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet relevant environmental and regulatory standards. This role includes interpreting regulations, developing and maintaining compliance documentation, and collaborating with product, engineering, and operations teams to integrate compliance requirements into product design and workflows.

The Compliance

Engineer will review and validate certificates, assist in automating compliance workflows using Certivo’s platform, and support audits and customer inquiries related to certifications.



The role also involves monitoring regulatory changes, identifying potential compliance risks, and recommending mitigation strategies to ensure consistent adherence to standards.

Qualifications

- Experience in product compliance, environmental regulations, or regulatory affairs in manufacturing or related industries.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting regulations, standards, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with compliance management tools, data analysis, or AI-driven platforms is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, documentation, and stakeholder updates.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and coordinate with suppliers and customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., compliance, quality, regulatory) are a plus.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Prior experience with audits, certification processes, or standards such as RoHS, REACH, or similar environmental regulations is beneficial.
