Role Description The Community Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for building and nurturing SAANROR’s skilled communities by engaging members through events, online discussions, and targeted outreach.

The Community

Coordinator will plan and execute community events, support networking activities, collect feedback from members, and collaborate with internal teams to align community initiatives with platform goals. Day-to-day tasks include managing community communication channels,



responding to member inquiries, tracking participation and engagement, and helping create content or campaigns that strengthen community connection and growth.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Community Engagement and Community Outreach skills to build and maintain active, inclusive communities.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with members, partners, and internal teams clearly and professionally.
- Candidates should possess Event Planning skills to organize, coordinate, and execute online and in-person community events.
- Candidates should possess Community Organizing skills to bring members together around shared interests, initiatives, and opportunities.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in community management or customer-facing roles, proficiency with social media and online community platforms, strong organizational and time-management skills, and a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, social sciences, or a related field.
